State Pension Age

It is some time since the Government announced harmonisation of the age for receiving state pension - so with one year to go it is being publicised again. The state pension age for women will increase between 2010 and 2020 by one month every two months until it reaches age 65. Women affected will receive a letter with the new date that they will reach pension age – with those who will reach pension age first being contacted first. All women will receive a letter well before their 60th birthday.
