Make learning act for you

Action Learning has been a proven method of learning since the concept was developed shortly after the Second World War. Small groups of employees (an ‘action learning set’) meet regularly to reflect and work on real work problems and issues.

This not only enhances the way people learn about work but it solves issues and difficulties quickly, right where they occur and without tying up huge amounts of management time.

Of course, as with all things of long-term value it needs to be set up correctly with a small amount of initial training to get employees and managers going in the right direction.

Proof that it really works? Well, there are still many organisations using Action Learning over 60 years after they were first introduced. Probably enough evidence to exclude it from the ‘flavour of the month’ club.
