Equality Act 2010

Having pondered on the future of the Equality Act 2010 after the formation of a Coalition Government a little news is emerging.
A Commencement Order came into force in July that will allow subordinate legislation and guidance in due course and allows the Equality & Human Rights Commission to issue Codes of Practice. It is hoped that further Commencement Orders will clarify which of the Act's provisions will survive and be implemented.
