Sarah is an HR Professional and Corporate Trainer with 17 years of experience in the IT Industry, IT Consulting and International Development. Most recently her professional engagement has focused around facilitating Communications and Cross Cultural development programmes for expatriate staff. Her expertise spans Strategic HR, Corporate Career Management, Employee Engagement and Building High Performance Teams. She serves on the HR Board of an International Development Organisation and as a mentor providing a strategic HR advisory service to a number of national organisations. She is invited as a speaker in a wide range of subject areas, including Organisational Development (OD), employee engagement and leadership.
Sarah has a Master of Social Work, Majoring in in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations and is a Certified Co-Assessor in Competency Based Human Resources Management. As well as her significant experience in the IT industry, she is a member of the HR Board of an International Agency placing professionals in emerging economies and have been a Strategic Advisor to the Association for Students’ Leadership Development.
Sarah has a keen interest in cross cultural training and career guidance for young people. Being passionate about organisational effectiveness through transformational leadership, she uses her HR skills to help build strategic leadership and innovative HR policies for NGOs. She loves being with people and is passionate about connecting people, developing children, parenting and music..
